West 8 is a Dutch urban-design and landscape-architecture firm designing green infrastructure for climate adaptation, biodiversity and coastal resilience. Its projects restore coastlines and wetlands, add green surfaces in dense cities and reduce flood risk through landscape-based solutions. Drawing on Dutch water-engineering traditions, it shows how landscape design can protect and enrich cities facing sea-level rise and extreme weather.
