The Viessmann Vitosol range, notably the Vitosol 300-TM vacuum-tube collector, is designed to maximise solar heat on buildings with limited roof space. Its adjustable absorber angle (±25°) allows installation in almost any position, including fully horizontal, while automatic ThermProtect prevents overheating. This makes solar thermal viable for apartment blocks and dense urban buildings where conventional tilted collectors do not fit, supplying renewable hot water and heating.
