SLA is a Danish landscape-architecture practice specialising in nature-based urban design: biodiversity, microclimates, natural stormwater management and heat-island reduction. Its projects report urban temperature reductions of around 1–4°C, increased biodiversity in parks and streets, and natural drainage systems that reduce flooding. It treats greenery and ecosystems as core infrastructure for climate-adaptive, liveable cities.
