With 709 affordable homes, it is recognised as the world's largest residential building certified to the Passive House standard. High-performance insulation, airtight construction, efficient windows and heat-recovery ventilation sharply cut heating and cooling demand while improving comfort and air quality, showing that deep energy efficiency scales with affordable housing.
