Kungsbrohuset is an eco-smart office building in central Stockholm, developed by Jernhusen, that combines smart, low-energy design with urban waste-heat recovery, notably capturing body and equipment heat from the adjacent Central Station to help warm the building. Together with efficient systems and daylight optimisation, this cuts energy use significantly, demonstrating how buildings can tap 'free' urban waste heat as a low-carbon resource.
