The Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant (KMEDP), developed and operated by Keppel for Singapore's national water agency PUB, is the country's first dual-mode plant able to treat both seawater and reservoir water depending on conditions. Built fully underground beneath a two-hectare public park, it provides flexible, climate-resilient water supply while returning green public space at the surface, integrating critical infrastructure into the city.
