Extended description
The Caldera Warmstone stores up to 100 kWh of heat in blocks of a proprietary composite of recycled aluminium and volcanic rock, charged with off-peak or surplus renewable electricity to up to 70°C. It can supply heating and hot water to a four-bedroom home for days, and an industrial version scales to megawatt-hours at higher temperatures. By storing cheap, clean electricity as heat, it helps decarbonise buildings and industrial process heat.
