Bo01, in Malmö's Västra Hamnen (Western Harbour), transformed a former industrial waterfront into a dense, mixed-use sustainable neighbourhood. The original district was designed around renewable energy, efficient buildings, green spaces, biodiversity and sustainable water management, with strong walking, cycling and transit connections. It became an early European reference for climate-oriented urban regeneration and district-scale sustainability.
