Autosafety Uganda is a low-cost initiative that reduces emissions and improves road safety by improving the condition of existing vehicles. Working with mechanics, drivers and regulators, it raises maintenance standards so current fleets run cleaner and safer, without requiring new vehicles or technology. It is a pragmatic, grassroots approach to cutting transport pollution where fleet replacement is not yet affordable.
